VISION

R3G aims to:

make a significant contribution to the practice of actively restoring natural capital by providing scientifically defensible information on the i) operational requirements, ii) valuation, and iii) delivery of ecosystem services and goods,
provide practical information to managers to enable sound environmental decisions,
make significant progress towards enabling procurement of Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES),
mainstream the value of restoring natural capital amongst the general public, and in particular communal and freehold landowners, relevant government departments and municipal authorities, and the business sector,
publish its findings in the peer-reviewed literature,
establish itself as a prominent group in the field of restoration,
establish partnerships and collaboration with other groups and individuals in the field of restoration; locally, nationally and internationally.
